Yesterday was a day of ups and downs. I woke up sick, with it focused mainly in my sinuses. I thought about calling in sick, but I only get 5 sick days a year. Work wasn't too bad, though. Yesterday I went to see the 1st Annual BOB FM Battle of the Bands in the parking lot of the Nebraska Furniture Mart. When I showed up, there was about a dozen people there. So today, I went for that bike ride. I ended up riding a total of 13.125 miles, and I didn't have the same episode like I did last time. Since now I knew what to expect from the ride, I took it easier earlier on and kept a slower, steadier pace. I drank lots of water at regular intervals and actually felt really good with the ride. I feel like I've been productive today. I went down to a Cingular store and transfered my plan to Omaha, so that now I don't have to worry about pesky roaming charges anymore. I finally renewed my license. Um, almost 7 months after it expired. It sucks that I have to renew it just to drive to another state. But, it's my own fault for not staying on top of this stuff. Last night played chess with Jim. Came up with a nice opening sequence of moves that I liked and that worked well.
